Up-cycled saw blade kitchen knife
Up-cycled saw blade Kitchen Knife
We felt we had to offer you his knives also.
Made by up-cycling used saw blades and hardwood off-cuts. The high carbon spring steel used in saw blades provides a razor sharp edge which it holds for an exceptionally long time. They must be cleaned and dried after use to avoid discolouring of the steel due to the high carbon content.
Each Handle is made from Cornish windfall* beech wood. No trees were hurt in the making of these beautiful knives.
* Windfall: Literally what it says on the tin, wood that has fallen because of wind. These beautiful knives couldn't be more sustainable.
- One of a kind
- Brass rivets
- British beech wood
Blade length = 11.5cm
Handle length = 10cm
Each knife blade will vary slightly in texture and shape due to the section of the saw blade it is taken from. We are currently out of stock of the walnut (darker) coloured handle.
